Airtel and Geo are luring customers in with high-demand OTT freebies

Reliance With its offerings, Jio was the only private telco in India to provide Netflix's over-the-top (OTT) benefit to its consumers. However, in order to preserve its customer base, Bharti Airtel Telco has recently entered the league. Airtel Extreme Fiber, the company's fibre broadband branch, is now offering two high-end plans that include Netflix's OTT features. Netflix's internet services are available for Rs. 1,499 via Geo Company.

With a broadband plan of Rs 1,498 from Airtel, you may get a free Netflix membership. Users will receive a basic Netflix membership with this package. Customers would receive a premium subscription to the Netflix OTT platform with another plan available for Rs 3,999.

Netflix's normal basic subscription costs Rs 199 per month, while the premium subscription costs Rs 649 per month. Users who have a Netflix Basic membership can only watch material on one screen. However, with a premium subscription, the content can be streamed on up to four screens at once.

High-end plans and Netflix

Both Geofiber and Airtel Extreme Fiber get a solid return by including subscriptions to all major OTT platforms like Netflix, Disney + Hotstar, and Amazon Prime with its high-end internet bundles. This is because when you get a plan for such a low price, you can not only recharge once a year, but you can also enjoy free access to OTTs all year long without having to spend a lot of money on entertainment.

Geofiber has recently begun to provide entertainment services, which start at Rs 100 per month. The business now bundles OTT service applications with 30 Mbps and 100 Mbps internet plans for its consumers with these entertainment options. Customers on Airtel's premium bandwidth plans, on the other hand, have been waiting a long time to enjoy Netflix. Geo, on the other hand, has long taken advantage of Netflix's high-end plans.

Customers may get internet plans with OTT subscriptions for Rs 999 from both Airtel and Geo. However, neither of them has access to Netflix. In order to compete with Airtel, Geo is expected to include a Netflix Basic membership with their Rs 999 internet plan. If this occurs, it will undoubtedly assist the organisation in attracting new clients who are already aggressive.
